What is considered standard embroidery?

Standard Embroidery includes text that is all the same font and thread color and on one area of the product.

Can we embroider multiple areas of a product?

Yes! You can never have too much embroidering! Please write the additional design and area(s) of the product you want embroidered in the Additional Order Notes text box or email us at hiahavadesigns@gmail.com. We will make sure to let you know the additional charge before continuing the design.

Can we use multiple thread colors in a single design?

Yes! We love seeing designs with multiple colors! Multiple thread colors will be an additional $5 USD to $8 USD! Please write it in the Additional Order Notes text box, and we will send an invoice for the additional charge. Please note, if you select the Rainbow thread color option while customizing your product, an additional $8.00 will be added to your cart.

Can we include images and motifs in the embroidery design?

Yes! Mixing text and images is such a special touch for custom embroidery! Images range from an additional $5 USD to $20 USD based on design complexity. Please write it in the Additional Order Notes text box or email us at hiahavadesigns@gmail.com and we will make sure to let you know the additional charge before continuing the design.

Can we use a font and thread color that is not listed on the site?

Definitely! We have many additional fonts and thread colors that are not listed on the site. Please write it in the Additional Order Notes text box or email us with your thoughts or an example at hiahavadesigns@gmail.com and we will let you know if we have what you are looking for or something close to it!

How should I care for my Personalized Plates and Bowls?

Microwave Safe - Do not place your dinnerware in the microwave without food or liquid – doing so may damage your microwave.
Dishwasher Safe - Wash on a normal cycle – no heated drying. Repeated dishwashing or extended contact with acidic food may cause darker colors to fade. Do not rest objects on your dinnerware in the dishwasher as this may cause warping.
Oven Safe - Oven Safe up to 250°F for 60 minutes or less.
No sharp utensils - plates are made from a high strength plastic polymer designed to be extremely durable, however the surface can be scratched. Do not use serrated knives or other sharp utensils as they can cause scratches or nicks in the surface.
Pre-Soak - For dried-on food or stains, pre-soak your dinnerware before cleaning.

How should I care for my Personalized Placemat?

Hand Wash - Wipe the placemat with a damp cloth after each use. For more stubborn spots, you can use a mild dish soap with water. Do not submerge in water. After washing, dry the placemats completely with a soft towel or let them air dry before storing or reusing them to prevent any water spots or damage.
No Harsh Chemicals - Do not use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or other harsh chemicals as these can damage the surface of the laminated placemat.

How should I care for my Personalized Kids Silverware?

Dishwasher Safe - Repeated dishwashing or extended contact with acidic food may cause darker colors to fade. Wash on a normal cycle – no heated drying.
Pre-Soak - For dried-on food or stains, pre-soak your silverware before cleaning.
Hand Wash - To ensure that the colors stay vibrant for the life of the silverware, we recommend that you hand-wash and dry when possible. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or scouring pads as they can damage the finish.
